Barstool and Chair Swivels
These are the swivels you will see most often. They usually have 7” or 6 3/4” square plates, and elongated slots at each corner with 5 1/4” mounting centers. To get this measurement, you measure from the center of the slot to the same place on the next slot. The 5 1/4” mounting is the industry standard.
 Swivels can be either “flat, no pitch” or “3 degree pitch”. Flat swivels are for chairs or stools with no backs. 3 degree pitch swivels are for chairs or stools with backs, although not all chairs or stools with backs use the 3 degree pitch swivel.
